Public Relations Specialist

Position: Community & Public Relations Specialist Location: Mechanicsburg, PA Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM (Full-Time) Who We Are: West Shore Home is a technology-driven and industry-leading home improvement company specializing in high-quality and convenient remodels of Bathrooms, Windows, and Doors. Purpose of Position: The Community and Public Relations Specialist will be a key liaison between West Shore Home and community organizations in our markets. They will be integral in strategy development and execution at the corporate and branch level to strengthen and develop the West Shore Home brand nationwide. Key Role Accountabilities: Identify, develop, and assist in implementing Community Outreach opportunities that are in line with our brand, values, and mission.

Development of communications to include, but not limited to, the quarterly West Shore Home newsletter, with idea generation, project management and article drafting. Ensure familiarity with local media organizations in each market, as well as trade industry publications and assist in media outreach for West Shore Home events.

Monitor the news in each West Shore Home branch to understand the needs of each community, including any natural disasters, emergencies, or unforeseen events. Expected to travel up to 10% per year. Minimum Requirements: College degree required. Preferably in the public relations or communications arena. Community relations, public relations, event planning, and administrative experience requested.

Media relations experience, including media outreach and press release development.
