60 - $46.29/hr. Starting Rate: $42.79/hr., this rate includes shift differentials. The posted pay range contains shift diff erentials. Weekday evening shift - additional 10% plus $2.00 per hour Weekday night shift - an additional 15% plus $3.00 per hour Weekend day shift – an additional 10% Weekend evening & night shift s – an additional 21% The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Responsibilities

Assesses patient for appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care based on diagnosis. Implements and monitors patient care plan and equipment. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition. Performs advanced respiratory care modalities. Evaluates respiratory practice, administration of medications, and treatment based on patient outcome.

Educates the patient and family about the health condition and provides information about community support groups and other available programs. Responds to emergency resuscitation team code.

Education

Associate's degree, requires Licensed Respiratory Therapist New York Board of Respiratory Therapy Licensure / Certification / Registration: Required Credential(s) BLS Provider obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date Licensed Respiratory Therapist

• New York Board of Respiratory Therapy Preferred Credential(s) : Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Neonatal Resuscitation Certification (NRC).
