Job description
ABOUT MECKA AI Mecka AI is building the data infrastructure layer for robotics and embodied AI. We partner with leading AI labs and robotics companies to deliver high-quality, real-world datasets used to train, evaluate, and deploy robotic systems — where model performance is dictated by data quality. THE ROLE We are hiring a Senior Product Engineer to take products 0 → 1 → scale.
This is a true senior, high-agency role for someone who is full-stack, design-oriented, and data-driven — with strong startup/founder-type instincts. You will work directly with internal users, define what to build, ship quickly, and own quality in production. WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON 0 → 1 PRODUCT BUILDING
- Turn ambiguous problems into shipped product: concept → prototype → production.
- Own scope, trade-offs, and delivery — not just implementation. FULL-STACK EXECUTION
- Build end-to-end workflows across frontend + backend.
- Create product primitives that are durable, simple, and fast to iterate on. DESIGN + PRODUCT CRAFT
- Sweat UX details: interaction quality, edge cases, and reliability.
- Partner closely with design — and bring strong product taste yourself. DATA-DRIVEN ITERATION
- Define success metrics and instrumentation.
- Use data to drive prioritization, quality, and performance decisions.
WHO YOU ARE
REQUIRED BACKGROUND - 7+ years of software engineering experience (or equivalent impact), with meaningful full-stack ownership.
- Proven track record shipping products 0 → 1 and scaling them in production.
- Strong product chops: you can reason about UX, workflows, and trade-offs.
- High agency: you move without waiting for perfect specs. Strong Signals
- Early-stage startup or founder experience with end-to-end product ownership.
- You can write clean systems and also care deeply about UX.
- You ship, measure, and iterate relentlessly. WHY THIS ROLE
- Build the product layer that turns complex operations and petabyte-scale data into simple, reliable workflows.
- High ownership, fast iteration, and direct impact across the company.
