HGV Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Birmingham area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team. Shifts: Typically across Monday to Friday but weekend work also may be a requirement. Roles: HGV Class 1

• Linehaul runs. HGV Class 2
• Bulk runs. Start Times: Days - between 7am - 10am starts (bulk runs). Afters - between 12pm - 10pm starts (linehaul runs). Pay Rate: Bulk runs - £15.83 per hour. Linehaul runs - £17.79 per hour (between 6am -10pm) & £18.79 per hour (between 10pm - 6am). Location: Birmingham Job Type: Ad-hoc / Temp / Ongoing The role: Bulk runs
• Multi-drop delivery (loading and loading required). Linehaul runs
• Performing trunk runs to the HUB.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence with Class 1 or 2 entitlement (category C&E & C). Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. 6 months minimum experience on the relevant vehicle. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only). Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
