Job Description The Technical Writer provides editing/formatting support to the engineering staff to document design verification activities, engineering technical reports, and manufacturing/service procedures. This position will focus on editing/formatting/finishing comprehensive technical documentation and support record-keeping activities necessary in the world of medical device compliance.

Job Duties Working with engineering staff to document project plans, inputs (requirements/specifications), design reviews, and outputs Support engineers with editing of verification and validation protocols Editorial review of individual test steps for each specific requirement Editorial review of engineering technical reports Incorporate engineering information into a standardized technical report format Develop and maintain a library of example images to use in manufacturing and servicing procedures Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree Entry level with two or more years of experience as an effective technical writer Experience in writing documentation for various audiences Proven ability to quickly learn and understand complex subject matter Superb written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail Experience in working with engineers Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Proficient in Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Benefits As a full-time team employee, you are eligible for all RbM Services benefits including medical, dental, vision, long-term, short-term disability, 401k, PTO, 10 paid holidays, etc.
