Long Term Substitute / Secretary / Districtwide

LONG TERM SUBSTITUTE SECRETARY DISTRICTWIDE Description: The district is seeking a qualified applicant to substitute for a school secretary. Performs varied secretarial and clerical office support work of a responsible and confidential nature under the direction of the Principal; assists in organization and administration of school activities, programs and operations as assigned; interacts with students; teachers and other school staff; parents/guardians/central office and the public.

Qualifications

High school diploma Minimum of three years of progressively responsible administrative/clerical experience including two years of secretarial experience work experience Working knowledge of district software applications such as Microsoft Office, Google Education Applications, etc. Prior experience in an educational setting is desirable Excellent verbal and written communication skills Speak and comprehend verbal and written Standard English Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain confidentiality in all matters related to students and staff Calm demeanor in crisis situations Supervised By: School Principal or his/her designee.
