Mobile Phlebotomist

Position Highlights Department: Lab Support Services Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: Days Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend or Every Third Weekend Responsibilities Performs venipuncture for patients in diverse care settings, including but not limited to patient homes and assisted living facilities. Fulfill in-patient phlebotomy responsibilities.

Processes Specimens. Performs computer work as applicable along with clerical duties. Contributes to a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, physicians and co-workers by following established standards and procedures. Properly uses personal protective equipment (PPE). Maintains a clean and organized work area following OSHA infection control guidelines.

Restocks work areas and assists in maintaining supply inventories. Ensures products are not expired Coordinates workload to achieve a high level of productivity and efficiency while demonstrating the ability to recognize, establish and deal with multiple priorities. Reports all problems, concerns or situations to the supervisor or manager in a timely manner with suggestions for potential solutions or idea Participates in educational opportunities and in training new employees.

Performs duties and solves problems in an independent manner with minimal need for supervision. Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent Phlebotomy Certificate and two years of phlebotomy experience Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record; attestation to company policy Basic Computer Skills Preferred Qualifications: Previous phlebotomy experience with all age groups. Knowledge of current Laboratory Information Systems.

Typically, a new hire can expect a starting pay rate somewhere in the lower part of the range. Actual pay rates may vary by position and will be determined based on the candidate's relevant experience. No employee will be paid below the minimum of the range. Pay ranges are listed as hourly values for both non-exempt and exempt roles.
