Security Guard

Position: Unarmed Security Officer As an Unarmed Security Guard, you will provide security and safety of critical sites, employees, vendors, and visitors. This position will be enforcing security procedures throughout a site. It is important that this position must be able to collaborate with the other members of our team to limit any potential risks.

Our ideal candidate will have security experience in a facility that requires 24/7 monitoring. General Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain the security and safety of your site through regular patrol. Maintain a physical presence within the facility. Actively enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures Respond to emergency situations that require security assistance.

Provide an empathetic approach to managing any escalated persons and situations. Keep accurate logs throughout your scheduled shift. Respond to reported incidents as necessary. Monitor a closed-circuit television for potential issues.

Qualifications

Comfortable with standing/walking for extended periods of time Provide exceptional customer service, with an exceptional smile. Have strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills. Have keen attention to detail. Previous security experience is considered an ASSET. Minimum age of 21 years old Must have weekend availability.

Valid security license a plus. Job Type: Full-Time (40 Hours) This position is subject to Native American/Alaskan Native preference. Indian Preference applies in accordance with P.L. and other applicable laws. Applicants claiming Indian Preference must submit documentation of enrollment in a federally recognized tribe.

Physical Requirements: To comply with the Rehabilitation Act of 1973’s essential physical, mental, and environmental requirements, employees must be able to successfully perform all functions of their job with minimal supervision.
