Bamboo Card is a Dubai-based B2B distributor of digital prepaid products and a rewards fulfilment partner to enterprises worldwide. Since 2018 we have built a catalogue of more than 3,500 products across over 80 countries, delivered through our client portal and API. More than 1,000 enterprise clients rely on us to power rewards programmes, employee incentives, customer acquisition campaigns and marketplace inventory.

We sit in one of the fastest-growing corners of the payments ecosystem with the banking infrastructure and supplier relationships that make global digital rewards work at scale. We are looking for a commercially aggressive, numbers-driven Head of Purchasing & Supplier Operations to own our inventory strategy, protect our margins, and secure our global digital supply chain.

Your Background You have cut your teeth in high-volume digital distribution. You come from digital goods distributors, prepaid/airtime platforms, gaming-key marketplaces, MVNO/telco procurement, payments vendor-management, or fast-moving FMCG category management. Your self-described career wins aren't "number of purchase orders processed.

" Your wins are about costs saved, margins recovered, and rebate structures negotiated. Must-Haves You are commercially aggressive and relationship-savvy. You know how to build deep, trust-based relationships with suppliers while holding a hard line on commercial terms. You live in spreadsheets. You instantly understand how a 0.

5% shift in an FX rate or a change in payment terms affects cash flow and unit economics. If your background is in corporate procurement, purchasing software licenses, or facilities management, this isn't the role for you. We need someone who manages inventory as a commercial asset. Margin Protection & Commercial Hustle Your primary KPI isn't just "keeping items in stock" - it's protecting and expanding our gross margin.

Lead hard commercial negotiations with global brand partners, aggregators, and distributors to win better discounts, rebates, and payment terms. Work closely with our Finance team to navigate currency fluctuations (FX) across our multi-currency purchasing operations, turning currency dynamics into margin wins. Digital Supply Chain & Redundancy Build and maintain a robust backup-supplier ecosystem.

If Supplier A goes offline or runs out of stock, our API must seamlessly failover to Supplier B with zero interruption and minimal margin hit. Ensure 99.9% uptime and availability for our global catalogue of digital rewards across multiple regions. Supplier Governance & Scorecards Design and run a data-driven supplier scorecard system to monitor vendor delivery speeds, success rates, pricing accuracy, and SLA compliance.
