North Branch Area Public Schools is looking for a full-time Alternative Learning / Transportation Secretary. The Transportation Secretary assists the Director and contracted transportation providers in planning, coordinating, and implementing daily bus operations in accordance with district guidelines and transportation contracts.

Serving as a liaison between families, schools, and bus contractors, this position supports ALC student scheduling and students, processes invoices and purchase orders, coordinates non-public/state transportation reporting, and serves as a backup substitute bus driver with a Type III vehicle. This position provides building secretarial support to the Area Learning Center students and staff.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Formal training in computer data management and secretarial office management preferred. Experience: Computer data processing experience required; experience with school bus routing software (Transfinder preferred) and GPS software required; data entry experience preferred.
