About the Role
The Head, Agile Program Delivery Office ensures technology initiatives across Polaris Bank are delivered on time, efficiently, and in a way that maximizes business value. This role directs four functions — Agile Program Management, Scrum/Agile Coaching, Portfolio Management, and Performance Metrics — through specialist leads and coaches.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Program Management Oversight Coordinate delivery across multiple agile teams, managing cross-team dependencies and ensuring program-level alignment Escalate and resolve delivery risks that span multiple teams or initiatives Scrum/Agile Coaching Oversight Ensure agile best practices and ceremonies are consistently applied and continuously improved across delivery teams Build organizational agile maturity through coaching and capability-building Portfolio Management Oversight Own the technology portfolio prioritization process, ensuring alignment with business strategy and available capacity Ensure resource allocation and capacity planning decisions maximize return on technology investment Performance Metrics Oversight Ensure delivery metrics (velocity, quality, throughput) are tracked and reported consistently across teams Use delivery data to drive continuous improvement in program execution Core Competencies Agile program and portfolio management (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) Coaching and organizational change leadership Financial and capacity planning across a technology portfolio Data-driven performance management Familiarity With Tools (used by the function's teams) JIRA, JIRA Align, Rally, Version.
One, Miro, Confluence; JIRA Portfolio, Lean. Kit; Power BI, Tableau, JIRA Analytics Requirements Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent agile/portfolio certification strongly preferred Demonstrated track record running agile delivery or PMO functions across multiple concurrent initiatives, ideally in banking or a large enterprise setting
