Per Diem Retail Pharmacist Make a difference in your community—one patient at a time. Black River Health is seeking a Per Diem Retail Pharmacist to join our team at the Krohn Clinic campus. In this role, you’ll provide personalized, high-quality pharmacy care while building meaningful relationships with patients and collaborating with healthcare providers and pharmacy staff.

Position Details Per Diem Day Shift Location: Krohn Clinic campus Essential Duties: Dispenses prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring regulatory compliance and patient safety.

Provides patient counseling regarding prescription and non-prescription medications, drug interactions, and proper usage. Reviews and verifies prescription orders to ensure accuracy, legality, and clinical appropriateness. Collaborates with prescribers and healthcare professionals to recommend therapeutic alternatives and resolve medication-related issues.

Participates in the management of the 340B Drug Pricing Program in alignment with organizational policy. Supports billing and insurance claim resolution processes, including prior authorizations and third-party communications. Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (B.S) in a five-year pharmaceutical program or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.
