Certified Medical Coder

The Neuro. Medial Center Rehabilitation Hospital is in need of a Part Time Certified Medical Coder (remote options available) Responsibilities: Responsible for inpatient diagnosis coding. Comply with all legal requirements regarding coding procedures and practices. Conduct audits and coding reviews to ensure all documentation is accurate and precise.

Assign and sequence all codes for services rendered. Contact physicians and other health care professionals with questions about treatments or diagnosis tests given to patients with regard to coding procedures. Maintain patient confidentiality and information security.

Qualifications

Vocational Degree CPC or CCS Preferred Preferred RHIT or RHIA Certification Knowledge of ICD-10 Codes and Procedures Medicare Compliance Experience Knowledge of Medical Terminology
