Job description
(This is an internal opportunity only and is not open to candidates outside of Medserv) The Opportunity Use your experience and training provided to help improve experiences for our team and our clients. Participate in regular forums with change leads. Being a Change Champion is a great opportunity to learn new skills, gain experience in change and continuous improvement, and help shape the future of UK Operations and RPMUK.
Reporting You will continue to report to your line manager, with Change Champion activities supported and coordinated by the programme lead. Your day-to-day responsibilities will remain the same, with time for Change Champion activities agreed alongside your existing work. We want this to be a positive development experience, so we will support you with learning opportunities and recognise your contribution through a small additional payment, reflecting the time and investment involved.
What you’ll be doing Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce duplication and improve service, sharing practical suggestions with the programme lead. Act as a subject matter expert for your area, providing insight into current processes, client requirements and operational challenges. Help test new processes, systems and ways of working before rollout, identifying issues and recommending improvements.
Gather colleagues’ feedback and raise questions, concerns and practical barriers with the programme lead. Share agreed updates and help colleagues understand and adopt changes. Attend change meetings, complete agreed actions and share progress, results and lessons learned. Undertake relevant study and training, applying new knowledge and skills to support operational improvements.
What’s the Commitment? Change Champion activities, including training, testing and implementation, may take place during normal working hours and occasionally outside working hours. The time commitment will be planned and agreed in advance with your line manager and the programme lead, balancing development opportunities with day-to-day responsibilities.
