Accountant (ALE)

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY Anyone AI is seeking Accountants to create realistic tasks that assess AI agents’ ability to complete everyday accounting workflows. You will develop original tasks and reference solutions, then evaluate agents working with financial records, spreadsheets, and accounting software. Company: Anyone AI Location: Remote Engagement: Project-based with flexible hours Compensation: US$80–US$150 per hour, depending on expertise and project requirements Responsibilities

• Create tasks involving bookkeeping, journal entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Develop reference solutions with accurate calculations, supporting documentation, and clearly explained accounting treatment.
• Evaluate agents classifying transactions, reconciling accounts, correcting discrepancies, and preparing accounting reports.
• Design scenarios involving incomplete records, duplicate transactions, misclassified expenses, and period-end adjustments.
• Define evaluation criteria for accuracy, completeness, consistency, and traceability to source documents.
• Identify accounting errors, unsupported assumptions, and mistakes in agents’ use of accounting tools.

Requirements

• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional expertise. - 3+ years of experience in accounting.
• Strong understanding of double-entry bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial statements.
• Experience with month-end closing and applying relevant accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and accounting software.
• Fluent English, with strong written communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

• CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, Net. Suite, SAP, or comparable platforms.
• Experience managing accounting records across multiple businesses or industries.
• Experience reviewing accounting work and documenting procedures.
