Cybersecurity Engineer

Amentum is seeking Cybersecurity Engineer to support our U.S. Department of Energy contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area. Work Schedule: 5 days, 8hrs Essential Responsibilities: Provide a wide range of Cyber Intelligence (CI) services to deliver timely, actionable, and relevant threat intelligence on hostile nation-states, cyber adversaries, and criminals seeking to conduct malicious cyber activities against U.

S. energy sector partners. Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities): 5–12+ years designing, implementing, or securing enterprise IT and operational technology environments. Experience with cloud security, Zero Trust, RMF, NIST 800-53, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and system hardening. Experience supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) packages and continuous monitoring.

This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
