Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant

Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant Position Purpose: Speech-Language Pathologist Assistants work under the supervision of the certified speech-language pathologist to assist with the implementation of treatment plans, collaborate with staff members, and collect data on student performance.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate or bachelor's degree in Communication Disorders or Speech-Language-Hearing Sciences (Preferred) Experience with children preferred Essential Responsibilities: Document student performance and report information to SLP Assist SLP with treatment implementation using the treatment plan developed by SLP Collaborate with teachers and related service staff on a regular ongoing basis Adhere to student IEPs as directed by SLP Support in creating and preparing materials as directed by SLP Log sessions into Relay/Compuclaim Maintain updated data on all goals and objectives addressed in sessions Job Details: 37.

5 hours per week inclusive of a 30 minute unpaid lunch (35 hours per week is paid) The staff member may travel between 3 schools within the district Caseload: Students Pre-K to 12 Requirements: Must pass federal and local background checks Must have reliable transportation Must complete all pre-employment requirements before the start date.
