Warehouse Operator

The Warehouse Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, organization, and handling of materials, products, and supplies throughout the warehouse and production areas. This position ensures materials are accurately received, inspected, stored, picked, staged, and delivered to the appropriate locations while maintaining accurate inventory records and following all company safety and quality standards.

Receive, unload, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and products. Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. Move materials and finished products between warehouse, production, shipping, and receiving areas. Accurately pick, stage, and deliver materials according to production requirements.

Load and unload trucks while following proper safety procedures. Verify quantities, part numbers, labels, and documentation for incoming and outgoing materials. Prepare customer orders stipulated on open sale order worksheet. Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories. Maintain the dock and warehouse areas in a safe, clean, organized, and efficient condition while ensuring compliance with company safety standards.

Maintain dock and warehouse area in a safe, neat and efficient condition. Follow all company policies, OSHA requirements, safety procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed. Perform routine inspections of material-handling equipment and report maintenance or safety concerns.
