Medical/Surgical Unit Employment Type: Full-time Shifts Available: Days Hours: 12-hour shifts – 7:00 am to 7:00 pm Location: Saint John Hospital

From managing complex, acute illnesses to supporting post‑operative recovery, they provide hands‑on nursing care that truly impacts patient outcomes. Monitor vital signs, document observations, and report changes in patient condition. Administer medications as prescribed and observe for reactions or side effects. Perform wound care, dressing changes, and assist with procedures within the state LPN scope. Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and the care team to support individualized care plans. Assist with discharge planning and provide patient/family education on treatments and recovery. Follow infection control practices and maintain accurate patient records.
