We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Maitre D' to be the face of our restaurant and lead the guest experience from the moment guests arrive. Beyond creating an exceptional welcome, you’ll play a key leadership role on the floor, guiding the team and driving consistently high service standards.

About the Role

As Maitre D', you will be the welcoming face and operational heartbeat of Marrow & Co. You will oversee the guest journey, coordinate reservations and seating, lead the front-of-house team through service, and ensure every guest receives warm, personalised and seamless service.

Key responsibilities include

Delivering a premium guest experience that reflects the Marrow & Co brand Leading the front-of-house welcome and managing reservations, bookings and seating plans Leading pre-service briefings to ensure the team is prepared, informed and aligned for each service Building strong relationships with regular guests and VIP members Coordinating service flow between the kitchen and front-of-house teams Driving guest satisfaction by proactively managing service standards, feedback and opportunities to elevate the experience Managing guest enquiries, feedback and special requests with professionalism and care Supporting the Restaurant Manager with daily floor operations Coaching and developing front-of-house team members through hands-on support and feedback Leading by example and maintaining premium service standards throughout every service Upholding high standards of presentation, cleanliness and attention to detail Demonstrating our values through teamwork, initiative and a genuine passion for hospitality About You You are a hospitality professional who thrives on creating memorable guest experiences and leading others to deliver exceptional service.

To be successful in this role, you will have: Previous experience as a Maitre D', Restaurant Supervisor, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or similar leadership role Experience within premium dining, fine dining, or upscale hospitality environments Exceptional guest engagement and relationship-building skills Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards Confidence leading, coaching and motivating a front-of-house team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A polished and professional presentation The ability to remain calm and organised in a fast-paced environment Confidence managing reservations, guest flow and peak service periods RSA certification (or willingness to obtain) Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays Full Australian working rights If you're passionate about premium hospitality, enjoy building relationships with guests, and are ready to lead the front-of-house experience at one of Bankstown's premier dining destinations, we'd love to hear from you.
