The Internal Control team focuses on the risks and challenges facing ByteDance's global business operations, helping business stakeholders establish the internal procedures that safeguard how the business develops.

You will learn how ByteDance's diverse business ecosystem works, from its operating principles to how resources are allocated, and help design the internal management mechanisms behind it.

Team Introduction: The Internal Control team is responsible for performing risk identification and assessing the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls across ByteDance global functions. The team's mission is to be a trusted advisor and add tangible value to the company through insightful and comprehensive risk management practices and proactive internal controls advisory support. As a Project Intern, you will contribute to impactful short-term projects and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, professional environment. Responsibilities

• Drive insights-driven risk work within the Internal Control team through developing, implementing and monitoring business data to promptly identify and address risks, as well as to drive process improvements, and support continuous risk monitoring implementation with data analytics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including all three lines of defence, for in-depth data-driven risk advisory support, process enhancement initiatives, and root cause analysis for fraud prevention.
• Stay abreast of emerging technology, industry trends, and cutting-edge risks.
• Provide ad hoc support to the team as needed to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification(s)

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Audit, Business, Risk Management, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related fields, in Singapore.
• Proficiency in analytical skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities with an interest in technology, social media, and global business operations.

Preferred Qualification(s)

• Work experience in a related field would be advantageous but not a pre-requisite.
• Excellent structured thinking, data analysis skills, and strong communication skills, including writing detailed reports and work papers.
