Position Summary

The Senior Project Engineer plays a critical role in field operations and project management across all phases of construction. As a key member of the project team, this role partners closely with project managers and superintendents while mentoring junior staff. This position serves as a development pathway toward future leadership roles such as Project Manager or Construction Superintendent .

Key Responsibilities

Lead buy‑out strategy and execution for assigned bid packages Prepare scopes of work Facilitate bid processes Evaluate submissions Conduct subcontractor scope review meetings Support final subcontractor selection Review design documents for constructability, clarity, and completeness Manage RFI workflows for assigned bid packages Oversee submittals to ensure design conformance and coordination across trades Monitor and manage bid package costs, including change negotiation and budget projections Support the daily resolution of field or coordination conflicts Serve as a mentor to Project Coordinators and junior engineering staff Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Professional demeanor and strong customer‑relations mindset Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while balancing multiple priorities Excellent time‑management skills and ability to work independently Exceptional attention to detail with strong writing and proofreading skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities Demonstrated leadership, analytical, and decision‑making skills Comfortable interacting across all levels of the organization Education Bachelor’s degree in: Construction Management Architectural Engineering Civil Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering

• OR - equivalent experience combined with ongoing professional education.
