Job description

Role: Senior Staff Accountant Location: Wall, NJ (Kinly offer a hybrid working arrangement allowing for a mix of office/home working) Contract: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week Salary: $95,000 - $105,000 per annum, plus benefits including: health, vision/dental insurance; disability, vacation, sickness, 401K Kinly is a leading integrator of audio-visual and unified communications solutions, and the largest in Europe, serving as a globally trusted technology advisor to leading organisations.

As the company continues to grow further, we now have a new opportunity for a proven Accountant to oversee all financial activities across Americas and to play a leading role in recommending, designing and implementing financial controls aligned to departmental objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Working with the Financial Controller perform general accounting functions & accounting records Maintain general ledger to include the preparation of journal entries, coding of invoices, accounts analysis and reconciliation, closing books monthly, and setting up new accounts Perform month-end reconciliations Assist outside auditors at year-end to include preparing schedules, providing explanation of supporting materials and procedures, and preparing any other necessary data Maintain records of all financial documents with appropriate supporting material Recommend, design, and implement any necessary department controls Interface with Information Management department for accounting and management data and initiate modifications/enhancements to computerized systems Skills & experience Accounting degree or proven experience in accounting, including revenue recognition Must have GAAP knowledge & an understanding of revenue recognition Capable of preparing monthly financial statements to include preparation of monthly balance sheet, income statement, reports on changes in financial position/budget variances Strong excel skills Be able to cope with multiple projects simultaneously If you are selected for interview, and need any reasonable adjustments made for your interview, please let the Talent Acquisition team know, at the point of scheduling.
