Cost Accountant

Job title: Cost Accountant Location: Queretaro At Johnson Matthey, your work will matter. As a Cost Accountant, you’ll join a world leader in platinum group metals with over 200 years of history and innovation. The role: As a Cost Accountant, you will help drive our goals by:

• Determine and update material unit costs in SAP
• Maintain SAP cost, inventory, metal and fixed asset accounts
• Monthly inventory valuation and variance analysis
• Review sales quotation costs
• Control provisions for slow-moving inventory, freight and absorptions
• Reconcile cost of sales versus accounting
• Perform plant cost analysis Key skills that will help you succeed in this role:
• 3 years in manufacturing and automotive industry; general accounting, inventory, costs and fixed assets
• Bachelor in Public Accounting
