Job description

Position Information: The Nursing Department at Misericordia University invites applications for a full-time, 10-month, non-tenure-track faculty position on our Dallas, Pennsylvania campus, beginning January 2027.

Responsibilities

will include didactic, laboratory, simulation, and/or clinical instruction in undergraduate nursing programs. This is an on-campus position and is not eligible for remote work. Occasional evening and weekend responsibilities may be required.

Qualifications

Required: Master's degree in Nursing. Current, unencumbered Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license. Preferred: Earned doctorate in Nursing or a related field (PhD, EdD, or DNP). Additional Qualifications: Previous post-secondary teaching experience in nursing. Experience supervising nursing students in clinical practice settings.

Experience teaching nursing students in laboratory and/or simulation environments. Strong commitment to student success and excellence in teaching. About the Nursing Department: The undergraduate and graduate Nursing programs at Misericordia University are fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Undergraduate nursing offerings include: Traditional Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nursing Part-Time Evening BSN Program Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) Weekend Program Application Process Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
