MRI Technologist

City/State Williamsburg, VA Work Shift Second (Evenings) Overview: Sentara is hiring a MRI Technologist in Williamsburg, Virginia. This is a Full-Time, Evening shift opportunity with great benefits. A 20K bonus is available to qualified candidates. As a MRI Technologist , you will perform MRI examinations while maintaining the safety and the integrity of MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers.

Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Explain examination and procedure to patients, and complete departmental documentation.

Qualifications

Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program OR Graduate of a 24-month program in radiologic technology in lieu of experience. CNMT or ARDMS or ARRT or ARMRIT is required. Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within two years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions) BLS 1-year experience in a Rad Tech position including Radiologic Tech, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, or Ultrasound preferred.

Six months of MR experience or completion of MR didactic program preferred.

The base pay range for full-time employment is $41.24 - $61.82 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
