Intake Specialist

The Intake Specialist evaluates clients referred from both internal and external sources to determine their eligibility for agency programs while also providing accurate information and appropriate referrals. This position is responsible for gathering basic demographic and contact details, as well as a comprehensive client history using the Agency’s standardized intake data elements.

Intake Specialists complete intakes and program enrollments for Housing, Counseling, Education and Workforce Divisions and coordinate scheduling for most appointment-based services within the Agency. This position requires the ability to engage effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including youth and young adults experiencing housing instability.
