• ARCADIA, FL, Position Type: Full Time, Salary Range: Undisclosed, The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and attractive floors throughout the nursing home facility. This position performs routine and specialized floor care, including cleaning, stripping, waxing, buffing, and maintaining various types of flooring. The Floor Technician helps ensure a clean and sanitary environment for residents, visitors, and staff. Operate floor care equipment, including buffers, scrubbers, and other cleaning machines. Follow proper safety procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Follow all facility policies and procedures. Maintain floors in resident rooms, hallways, nursing stations, dining areas, offices, and common areas. Previous experience in floor care, housekeeping, environmental services, or custodial work preferred.

Qualifications

Previous experience in floor care, housekeeping, environmental services, or custodial work preferred. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive movements. Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment as required. Ability to safely operate heavy floor care equipment.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Good time-management and organizational skills. Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents.
