Grade Levels & Assignments: Substitute teachers may be assigned to Early Childhood through Grade 8 classrooms, including: General Education Special Education Art Music Physical Education Qualifications Applicants must possess one of the following: Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) Illinois Substitute Teaching License Illinois Short-Term Substitute License All licenses must be registered with West 40 Intermediate Service Center (Region 06).
