The opportunity: The Wellington-Altus Alcorn office is currently recruiting an Office Administrator to join our highly skilled teams specializing in customized and innovative wealth strategies for high-net-worth clients.
The Office Administrator is responsible for managing the operations of the office, providing team support and assistance to all teams located on site. The Office Administrator will use their exceptional organization and client service skills to provide confidential and timely administrative and customer-service support to the Advisor teams and their clients.
Key responsibilities include
Welcomes private clients by greeting them, in person or on the telephone, answering or referring to inquiries internally. Meeting boardroom preparation and take down. Co-ordinate the delivery and pick up mail/couriers. Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies. Track expenses with head office reimbursements. Acting as a general resource person for the team and clients.
Having a strong understanding of the firm’s procedures and policies. Maintaining client files, ensuring that all documentation and notes are compliant with industry regulations. Performing general administrative tasks (ex: preparing letters, client communication pieces, etc.) Performing other duties as assigned. The ideal candidate will possess: Minimum qualification is a high School diploma or equivalent (Diploma preferred).
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) is required. Work experience in office support & duties for a busy office environment is preferred. Minimum 2 years’ experience in Customer Service Roles. A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office tools: experience with financial tools is an asset.

Keep tasks, schedules, and priorities meticulously organized, maximizing productivity and efficiency. Excellent attention-to-detail. Reliable, consistent work ethic.
Compensation
& Benefits: Range $40,000 - $60,000 annually. This range represents Wellington-Altus' expected range of compensation for this position. Actual compensation will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
Compensation
for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. Wellington-Altus' total compensation package for employees may also include discretionary bonuses as well as other perks and rewards. Wellington-Altus also offers health insurance, accident and life insurance, and other unique benefits per location.
Conditions of employment: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. A background check, satisfactory to the employer, may be required of the successful applicant prior to commencing employment. Must be able to travel within Canada 0-5% of the time.
