Cage Cashier Full-Time

Handles financial transactions including exchanging cash for slot tickets, performing credit checks, and cashing checks. Processes checks. Computes, classifies, records, and verifies cash and coin according to specific policies and procedures and guest service standards. Provides even exchange of cash and exchanges of receipts for cash.

Processes jackpots. Provides change and breaks down bills. Balances funds and assets at end of work shift. Responsible for sports wagering ticket redemption at a dedicated cage window. Ability to work as a Sportsbook Writer before or after a scheduled shift in addition to days off. Responds to guest questions and concerns.

Complies with all aspects of the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and its regulations including, but not limited to, Title 31 Cash Transactions, Suspicious Activity Reporting and Customer Identification requirements. Performs all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older. High school diploma or equivalent. One or more years cashier or related experience preferred. Must be available to work flexible shift, weekends and holidays. Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing. Physical and Mental Demands: Regularly required to see, talk or hear; stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms.

Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Able to interact with others while maintaining a positive and courteous demeanor under frequently fast paced work conditions
