Business Insights Analyst

SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE The Business Insights Analyst will create and analyze monthly point of sale reports and work closely with account managers to create sales presentations. The right candidate will have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and demonstrate the ability to deal with ambiguity and show flexibility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Create andanalyzeregular monthly POS andconsumerpanel reports andpresentations to supportaccountmanagers andsales leadership team. Synthesize external trends with internal datain evaluating the best strategic course of action. Work closely withaccountmanagers to deliver insight-drivensales stories to help increase distribution and salesgrowth.

Monitor the results ofdistribution gainsand promotional strategiesby evaluating performance in relation tocategory share and volume growth. Evaluatecategorytrends and become an expert on thetea andjuicecategories. Develop a knowledge base onmajorbrands,packs,items , flavors at a national and regional level . Learn and understand theretail landscape and themajor differences amongmultioutletretail channel environments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in business,economics, marketing,accounting, finance or related fieldor minimum 3 years of experience in Business Analytics. Analytical,evaluative,and data-driven mindset Ability to multi-task Detail oriented Strong verbal and written communication skills Experience with IRI or Nielsen POS data a plus Strong KnowledgeofMSOfficeapplications(Excel and.
