Description for Internal Candidates Job Description – Retail Pharmacist Department: Retail Pharmacy Location: UAE Job Title: Retail Pharmacist Job Summary We are looking for a qualified, confident, presentable, and customer-focused Retail Pharmacist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong pharmaceutical knowledge, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a sales-oriented mindset, and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.

The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment and standing for extended periods while assisting customers and supporting store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately and provide appropriate pharmaceutical advice to customers. Deliver an excellent customer experience through personalised service, active listening, and effective communication. Recommend suitable OTC products, vitamins, supplements, skincare, and wellness products based on customer needs.

Actively promote pharmacy products and drive sales to achieve individual and store sales targets. Identify customer needs and use effective cross-selling and upselling techniques. Engage confidently with customers, explain product benefits, and recommend suitable solutions. Maintain strong product knowledge and stay updated on medications, healthcare products, and promotions.

Ensure compliance with UAE pharmacy regulations and company policies. Maintain product displays, stock availability, and merchandising standards. Handle customer inquiries professionally and resolve concerns effectively. Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and welcoming approach at all times. Support daily store operations and collaborate with team members to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.

Qualifications

and Experience Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or an equivalent recognised qualification. Valid UAE pharmacy licence or relevant eligibility, as applicable to the assigned location and subject to regulatory requirements. Previous retail pharmacy experience is preferred. Strong sales, customer service, and product recommendation skills.

Good communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage. Key Competencies Sales Orientation: Ability to promote products, cross-sell, upsell, and achieve sales targets.
