ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a proactive and organized NYSC Corps Member to join our team as an HR NYSC Intern. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day Human Resources and recruitment activities while gaining practical experience in a professional work environment. This opportunity is open to serving Corps Members, whether they currently have a PPA or not.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with recruitment and candidate sourcing activities.
- Review and screen CVs based on specified job requirements.
- Support interview scheduling and candidate communication.
- Maintain and update recruitment trackers and employee records.
- Assist with onboarding and documentation processes.
- Support the HR team with administrative and employee-related tasks.
- Prepare recruitment reports and other HR-related documents when required.
- Assist with posting job vacancies across relevant platforms.
- Follow up with candidates and maintain effective communication throughout the recruitment process.
- Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be a currently serving NYSC Corps Member.
- Corps Members with or without a PPA are eligible to apply.
- Must reside in or around Gbagada, Lagos, or within a reasonable commuting distance.
- Must be able to report to the office once a week.
- Must have access to a personal laptop, as a laptop will NOT be provided.
- Must have reliable internet access.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Workspace is an advantage.
- Prior HR or recruitment experience is an advantage but not mandatory. WORK ARRANGEMENT The role is primarily remote, with a mandatory requirement to report to the office once a week in Gbagada, Lagos.
