Security Clearance Required: A Final DoD Top Secret Clearance This position does not provide a telework option. Candidate must be willing to work on-site in Patuxent River, MD. CRL provides a signing bonus and potential relocation assistance for this position. Primary Responsibilities: The candidate will function as a Scheduler for an advanced research and development (R&D) program. The Scheduler will develop, maintain, and manage the Integrated Government Schedule (IGS) in accordance with DoW and NAVAIR. They will ensure schedule integrity through proper logic, sequencing, and resource loading to accurately reflect program scope, technical dependencies, and execution strategy. The candidate will coordinate with Program Managers, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Logistics, Test & Evaluation, and other functional stakeholders to collect, validate, and integrate schedule inputs. They will conduct schedule risk and critical path analysis to identify potential impacts to program milestones, test events, and delivery commitments. In addition, they will monitor schedule performance, assess variance, and analyze impacts resulting from technical changes, funding adjustments, and program risks. Scheduler tasking includes: Prepare and support schedule products and briefings for Program Management Reviews (PMRs), Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs), milestone reviews, and senior leadership briefings. Ensure compliance with NAVAIR scheduling policies and contractual data item descriptions (DIDs). Evaluate Contractor Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) health and ensure compliance with Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Deliverable and DCMA 14-point assessment criteria. Support configuration management and baseline change control processes, including schedule impact assessments and documentation. Provide schedule metrics, forecasts, and visualizations to support informed decision-making and risk mitigation. Identify schedule risks and collaborate with the Risk Management Board to support mitigation strategies and recovery planning. Maintain schedule documentation, assumptions, and data integrity to ensure audit readiness and traceability. Support Schedule Risk Assessments (SRAs) and collaborate with the Risk Management Board. Develop and track schedule mitigation and recovery plans for at-risk milestones. Required Education: High School Diploma or GED. Required Experience: Candidate must have at least four (4) years of relevant experience. Proficient with project scheduling software (Microsoft Project (MS Project) or Open. Plan Professional (optional)), including task creation, dependency management, and critical path analysis. Desired Experience: Candidate should be proficient in all Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and have experience with Adobe Acrobat and share point style file sharing systems. Candidate should have demonstrated outstanding oral and written communication skills. Candidate should have experience working in a dynamic, schedule constrained, and complex security environment. Special Access Program experience is a plus. Allowable Experience/Education Substitutions: Experience cannot be substituted for education. Security Clearance Required: A Final DoD Top Secret Clearance. Estimated Travel: 10-20% Location: On-Site Patuxent River, MD. Telework is not offered.
Pay Range
$80,000-$135,000. Salary will be set based on experience, education, and contractual requirements.
