Outpatient Phlebotomy Technician # Float -Position Summary The Outpatient Phlebotomy Technician # Float interacts with patients and other health-care providers to collect, transport and/or process blood and other body fluids from a full spectrum of the patient population. He/she performs EKG procedures in conjunction with the Department of Cardiology.

He/she participates in educational and training activities and may participate in the performance of routine administrative and non#routine technical functions. *This is a float position that will support all of our Outreach Lab locations in MD/DE Outpatient Phlebotomy Technician # Float -Position Requirements# Education Successful completion of an approved training program consisting of both lectures and practical application in phlebotomy or comparable education or experience.

Will be trained in house to perform EKG functions.# Experience One year#s experience performing similar duties preferred. Should have good typing skills.
