General Manager - Agriculture (Palm Trees, Fruits & Vegetables

Our customer is hiring for the following role: Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced General Manager to oversee our agricultural operations specializing in palm trees, fruits, and vegetables. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of agricultural practices, exceptional leadership skills, and a commitment to enhancing productivity and sustainability within the sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance agricultural production and efficiency for palm trees, fruits, and vegetables.
• Lead and manage all aspects of agricultural operations, including planting, cultivation, harvesting, and distribution.
• Monitor and evaluate production processes to ensure quality standards and compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with agronomists and other experts to optimize crop yields and sustainability practices.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of agricultural operations.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, distributors, and stakeholders within the agriculture industry.
• Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and regulations to ensure best practices are implemented.
• Report directly to the executive team and provide insights into operational performance and strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in agricultural management, with a focus on palm trees, fruits, and vegetables.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale agricultural operations.
• Strong understanding of modern agricultural technologies and practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive operational success.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and sustainability practices in agriculture.
