Cafeteria Production Member

JOB TITLE: Cafeteria Production Member QUALIFICATIONS : Have a high school education or equivalency, Serv. Safe Certificate or obtain a Serv. Safe Certificate within 30 days of hire date, take and pass Math Screening, some experience in quantity cooking and working with children, have some knowledge and experience in clerical work, and have the ability to learn and keep accurate records.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Ability to understand instructions and underlying principles: Ability to reason and make judgements Ability to perform arithmetic operations quickly and accurately. Ability to understand and interpret information presented in the form of graphs, charts, or tables. Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another of a different nature without loss of efficiency or composure.

Ability to accept responsibility for the direction, control, or planning of an activity Ability to make generalizations, evaluations, or decisions based on sensory judgmental criteria. JOB GOALS: To ensure that the facility adheres to relevant regulations, improves customer satisfaction, supervises employees, participates in recruitment of new hires and maintains a safe environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Collects all money and tickets from students and adults receiving a school lunch or food service item Counts and deposits all monies received by the school lunch program Keeps accurate daily records of the number of lunches, breakfasts and milks served Prepares required daily reports Follows all safety instructions when using equipment and working with students Cooperates with other food service employees Provides leadership of kitchen functions Plans work schedules for all kitchen employees and delegates responsibilities in the kitchen Plans special events and promotions for students Performs other duties as assigned by the Cafeteria Manager PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 50lbs.
