• The Mental Health Provider – Nurse Practitioner at DOCS MEDICAL GROUP is responsible for delivering high-quality mental health care services to patients. This role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with mental health conditions, while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care. The position requires a compassionate and professional approach to support patients in achieving optimal mental health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including medication management and therapy recommendations.
• Provide ongoing monitoring and follow-up care to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and make necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure a holistic approach.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, and continuing education opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health care.
• Advocate for patients' needs and rights within the healthcare system and the community.
• Engage in community outreach and education initiatives to promote mental health awareness and reduce stigma.

Qualifications

Required Education:

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) with a specialization in Psychiatric-Mental Health. Required Experience:
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner in a mental health setting.
• Experience in diagnosing and treating a variety of mental health disorders.
• Proven track record of working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Required Skills

• Strong clinical skills in psychiatric assessment and intervention.
