Playgroup Crew Member Location: Club Pups Lake Norman, Mooresville, North Carolina Position: Part-Time About the Role Get to know the dogs in your care while supervising safe play, supporting comfortable rest and keeping our spaces clean. This active, rewarding part-time position offers structured training and meaningful responsibility on every shift.

What Your Shift May Include Supervise assigned playgroups and help dogs enjoy safe, structured play and rest. Learn each dog’s name and care instructions and help with safe moves between play areas and suites.

Keep drinking water fresh, collect food bowls and support feeding when directed. Clean suites, equipment and play spaces, including dishes, laundry and waste removal. Notice and report changes in dog behavior or health and share clear shift handoffs. Help with final potty and suite checks, secure gates and report readiness to the front desk.

Expect time on your feet, barking, dog hair, waste cleanup, and work indoors and outdoors. Caring for our pups includes keeping their environment clean throughout the day. Support teammates, greet families warmly, and complete other related duties as assigned. Training and Support Training combines supervised practice and documented competency checks.

Independent critical tasks require management approval and completed training signoffs. What Makes a Great Teammate You arrive ready for your shift and follow through on assigned work. You follow directions and accept coaching from supervisors and teammates. You ask when something is unclear, stay attentive around dogs, and speak up about concerns.

Qualifications

and Availability Must be at least 18 years old and able to follow verbal and written instructions. Part-time availability for morning, afternoon, or combined shifts based on assigned coverage, including weekends and holidays. Dog-care experience, familiarity with canine body language, and customer service experience are preferred but not required.

Able to stand and walk for extended periods, typically 5–8 hours per shift. Able to lift, carry, or move up to 50 pounds. Able to frequently bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and perform activities associated with animal care and cleaning. Able to safely handle dogs of varying sizes and activity levels. Able to observe animal behavior and communicate safety concerns.
