Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher
Job description
Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher Milton School District is seeking a caring, dedicated, and collaborative Long-TermSubstitute Special Education Teacher to join our team. Position Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. Implement students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and accommodations.
Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, related service providers, and families. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation. Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred; degree in Special Education or a related field is a plus. Valid teaching certification/licensure preferred, depending on state requirements. Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred. Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills. A patient, flexible, and student-centered approach.
Position Details Position: Long-Term Substitute Special Education Teacher Start Date: October 14, 2026 End Date: November 27, 2026 Schedule: Full-time, school-day schedule Daily Compensation: $250.48
