Driver/Operator (Wastewater Treatment Plant)

The City of Lynchburg is an Equal Opportunity Employer Water Resources Department Wastewater Treatment Plant is seeking a Driver/Operator.   Performs difficult skilled work in the regular operation of a hooklift/rolloff truck and tractor with dump trailer combination in the disposal of solids from the Lynchburg Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Work is performed under general supervision of shift supervisor.   Supervision may be exercised over other drivers/operators.  Work is performed in various weather conditions ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold.
