Substitute Food Service Worker

The Port Byron Central School District is looking for a Substitute Food Service Helper to assist in the kitchen and help manage a safe, organized cafeteria. This role combines food service with student lunch supervision to ensure a smooth, positive lunch experience for our students.

Key Responsibilities

Food Prep & Service: Prepare simple meal components and serve students on the lunch line. Student Supervision: Monitor the cafeteria during meal times to ensure student safety and assist with needs (e.g., opening milk cartons). Sanitation: Clean and sanitize tables between lunch periods and wash dishes/equipment in the kitchen.

Fingerprinting required. Job Type : Substitute Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred). Work Location: In person.
