ROLE DESCRIPTION We are looking for an experienced and commercially-minded Senior Marketing Manager to lead our CRM and customer communications strategy across both B2B and B2C audiences, while supporting the delivery of wider marketing and brand initiatives on a Maternity Cover basis. A key focus of the role will be developing and optimising our customer lifecycle marketing programme. Working with a new email platform, the successful candidate will play a central role in defining our CRM strategy, establishing best practice and building the foundations for future growth. The role manages a small team responsible for delivering high-quality communications to estate agent and new homes developer customers and prospects, while also supporting consumer marketing activity.Alongside CRM leadership, the role will support the planning and execution of broader marketing initiatives, including integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, events, proposition development and commercial marketing activity. The role works closely with senior stakeholders across the business and supports the delivery of wider company objectives. It acts as a key link between Marketing, Product, Sales, Data, Operations, IT, Legal and Executive Leadership teams. This role will appeal to a CRM and customer communications expert who enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on delivery and is comfortable working across a broad range of marketing disciplines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and deliver CRM strategies across both B2B and B2C audiences, including segmentation, automation, lifecycle marketing and behavioural communications Create and optimise customer journeys to improve engagement, conversion, retention and customer value Work closely with Data, Product and Technology teams to improve marketing effectiveness through targeting, personalisation and audience insights Establish and promote CRM best practices, governance, processes and quality standards Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on campaign performance, customer experience and operational efficiency Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance, using data and insight to inform future activity and business decisions Support the development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across owned, earned and paid channels Lead marketing workstreams for major brand and commercial campaigns, coordinating internal stakeholders and external agency partners where required Support the planning and delivery of above-the-line marketing activity, including TV, video, audio, outdoor and other brand-building channels, where applicable Manage campaign budgets, timelines and creative development to ensure activity is delivered effectively and on schedule Support the planning and delivery of industry events, conferences, sponsorships and exhibitions Deliver presentations, reports and recommendations to senior stakeholders and Executive Leadership Support the delivery of B2B and B2C marketing communications across channels beyond email Act as the guardian of the On.

Star Group brand guidelines Collaborate with Marketing, Product, Sales, IT, Legal and Executive teams to support new product launches, commercial initiatives and business priorities Foster a culture of testing, learning, innovation and continuous improvement within the team Conduct regular performance reviews, development discussions and coaching for direct reports QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Significant hands-on experience in CRM, lifecycle marketing or email marketing Proven experience developing segmentation strategies, automated customer journeys and customer communication programmes Strong understanding of personalisation, A/B testing, database marketing and marketing automation Experience analysing campaign performance and translating insight into actionable recommendations Experience working with marketing platforms, CRM systems and customer data Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders simultaneously Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Experience managing and developing team members Comfortable operating at both a strategic and delivery level A proactive, hands-on approach with a willingness to roll up their sleeves and support delivery when required Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail A creative eye and passion for delivering high-quality customer communications DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Experience marketing to both B2B and B2C audiences Experience managing integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns Experience working with creative, media and production agencies Experience supporting or delivering above-the-line advertising campaigns, including TV, radio, audio, outdoor or broader brand-building activity Experience within property, marketplace, technology or digital businesses WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
