Key Result Areas: Develop and distribute original content for presentations, articles, blogs, press releases, and social for Al-Mujadilah team Ensure that all content review aligns with the Al-Mujadilah key messages, style guide, and tone to ensure consistency and relevance to target audiences Support the Public Relations activities for Al-Mujadilah, respond to media inquiries, which may include emergencies, and provide relevant information to the news media, generating positive press coverage of departmental activities.

Help with all media activities, media training, and interviews prep and coordination between speakers and the media outlets Draft, edit, and design Al-Mujadilah’s annual reports with the support of relevant team members. Assist the Executive Director with all critical communications (letters, emails & presentations) to various stakeholders Oversee workshops design, coordination, and facilitation organized by the comms team or other teams Identify speaking opportunities for the leadership and the team and support with speech writing Monitor news coverage and maintain files of news clippings, representing the department with other emergency services agencies Oversee the website content development and updates Oversee social media platforms’ content generation and editing Plan and coordinate Al-Mujadilah events and conferences in collaboration with other Al-Mujadilah team members.

Other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor. Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field of study. 2-5 years of relevant full-time work experience in Communications and Public Relations. Excellent attention to detail. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

Excellent writing skills with the ability to draft and edit a variety of written reports and communications and to articulate ideas clearly and concisely; Arabic proficiency is required. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
