Occupational Therapists (OTs) help students who have conditions that are mentally, physically, developmentally, or emotionally disabling improve their ability to perform tasks in daily routines and environments. They have the knowledge of treatments used to restore function which has been impaired or lost and improve the students ability to perform tasks required for independent function.

Specific occupational therapy services include but are not limited to: using specifically designed activities and exercises to enhance neurodevelopmental, perceptual motor, sensory processing and fine and gross motor functioning.
