Shift Maintenance Engineer

Luxury 5 star hotel is looking to fill a permanent job for a Shift Maintenance Engineer. Based near Oxford Circus, London. Shift Maintenance Engineer salary up to £38k + annual bonus. 12hr shifts, day & nights, 4 on 4 off. Job Duties The Shift Maintenance Engineer will carry out day to day repairs and maintenance of the mechanical & electrical equipment and building engineering assets.

The Shift Maintenance Engineer will perform preventive maintenance work, inspecting and carrying out remedial work on all mechanical/electrical equipment. The Maintenance Engineer will monitor all mechanical/technical services and log all findings. supervising maintenance contractors, ensuring health and safety. Job Requirements The ideal Shift Maintenance Engineer will have worked in a similar maintenance engineer job preferably in a hotel environment.

The Shift Engineer will have knowledge of electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, plant rooms and general building maintenance. The Shift Maintenance Engineer will have strong customer service, be able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment and have excellent attention to detail. Someone who has worked in a job as a Maintenance Engineer, Shift Engineer, Duty Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Electrician, Mechanical Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician will be suitable candidates for the Shift Maintenance Engineer job.
