Job Overview The Senior Manager, Corporate Accounting & Expense Operations provides leadership across core accounting and expense operations, helping ensure accurate, efficient and scalable financial processes across the organization.

This role oversees key activities across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, General Ledger and reconciliations, while leading and developing the accounting operations team. Working closely with Finance leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, the Senior Manager will strengthen financial controls, improve operational processes and provide meaningful financial insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Lead core accounting and expense operations across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, General Ledger activities and reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely financial operations. Monitor key financial metrics, risks and emerging trends, providing timely insights and recommendations to the Controller and senior leadership.

Lead, coach and develop the accounting operations team, establishing clear priorities, accountability and effective ways of working. Strengthen and scale AP, AR and procurement processes, maintaining appropriate financial controls while supporting efficient and sustainable business growth. Drive continuous improvement and automation across accounting workflows, identifying opportunities to streamline processes, enhance systems and improve data quality and operational efficiency.

Partner closely with Finance leadership, including the Controller, Treasury & Tax and FP&A, as well as Procurement and business leaders, to support financial and operational priorities. Prepare and provide meaningful financial analysis and reporting to executive and senior leadership, Product Line Owners and other key stakeholders to support informed decision-making.

Maintain strong financial governance and controls across accounting operations, identifying operational or financial risks and supporting appropriate resolution and corrective actions. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal business stakeholders, sponsors and external vendors, providing responsive and customer-focused financial support.

Support the continued development of scalable accounting processes, systems and operating practices as the organization grows and business requirements evolve. Skills & Qualifications 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance or a related function, including previous leadership experience within a mature or established organisation.

Strong practical knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, General Ledger activities, reconciliations and financial controls. Demonstrated experience leading expense operations and procurement within a complex business environment. Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to coach and develop employees, build high-performing teams and establish clear accountability and priorities.

Experience developing and scaling financial processes within a growing organization, with the ability to introduce structure while remaining adaptable to changing business needs. Demonstrated continuous improvement mindset, including experience streamlining workflows and leveraging technology and automation to improve financial operations.

Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to analyze financial information, identify risks and trends, and translate data into meaningful business insights. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships and influence across functions and levels of seniority.

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline required; CPA designation and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience is considered an asset. Fluent English communication skills, with the ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
