The Orange County Department of Education (OCDE) is looking for a compassionate and dependable Substitute School Nurse to support students in our ACCESS Alternative Education program.

This is a great opportunity for a nurse who enjoys working with young people and wants the flexibility of a substitute schedule. You'll work approximately 2–3 days per week, with opportunities for additional days as needed, providing essential health services when our regular nursing staff are unavailable. • Help students feel safe, supported, and ready to learn What You’ll Do As a Substitute School Nurse, you’ll provide nursing and health-related services to students across OCDE’s ACCESS school sites. You may assess illnesses or injuries, respond to medical needs and emergencies, administer medications, support students with chronic health conditions, implement individualized health plans, and collaborate with families and school staff. Short Term School Nurse What We’re Looking For Candidates must have a valid California Registered Nurse license, a bachelor’s degree or higher, and a valid California School Nurse Services Credential (Preliminary or Clear). Requirements

/ Qualifications Candidates must have a valid California Registered Nurse license, a bachelor’s degree or higher, and a valid California School Nurse Services Credential (Preliminary or Clear).
