Auto/Bus Mechanic - Transportation

Remainder of 2026-2027 School Year

245 days per school year / 8 hours per day

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

Responsible for the repair, inspection, overhaul, and testing of school owned automobiles, trucks, buses, tractors, and lawn equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or equivalent. Must possess or be able to possess a valid commercial driver's license and a valid Mississippi School Bus Driver's certificate. Must posses or obtain ASE Certifications. Must pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.
